Brandon Sewell, 31, grew up in El Dorado. In 1997, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Sewell moved to Fayetteville in 1998 looking for business opportunities. A year later, when he heard that Dick Bradley was selling Atlanta Bread Co. in Fayetteville, Sewell jumped on the opportunity.

The restaurant now ranks among the top nationwide in customer service, employee productivity and profitability. In 2000, it had the largest annual sales increase of any Atlanta Bread eatery nationwide.

In 2002, Sewell and his wife Erin opened a second Atlanta Bread Co. in Rogers.

Brandon Sewell handles the personnel and management issues for the restaurant while Erin serves as the office manager.

The Sewells, who now live in Springdale, donate regularly to local charities, whether it be cash or food.

Brandon Sewell has joined Greg Henry of York Construction to develop 400 lots in two subdivisions in Rogers and one in Fayetteville.

Brandon Sewell’s advice to young people is, “Do what you like to do. Find something you enjoy doing. That’s what’s important.”
