Mocha and Mozzarella with Barber

The word is two food operations are in the works for Brandon Barber. But negotiations are ongoing for what will wind up in the 16,000-SF building he bought from Gary Combs.

The location off Old Missouri Road in Springdale will house the new holding company for Barber Properties, Barber Homes and the Barber Development and Construction divisions. We hear he is installing a brick oven for a pizza-by-the-slice outfit that has yet to be named and a coffee shop.

Still no news from Combs about the eatery he is planning with Daniel Maestri.

The fused Italian/Mexican food joint is supposed to be called Nacho Mamas, so we’re told, with franchise plans to follow. The 5,000-SF, sit-down restaurant with a possible drive-through was in the planning stages back in December for the corner of Electric Avenue and Arkansas Highway 265 in Springdale.
