Monte and Pat Shell of Shell Investments LP sold the Best Western Inn at 2307 S.E. Walton Blvd. to Hotel Contractors LLC, of which Tansukhla “Tom” Bhakta and Kenneth Mourton are members, for $3.5 million on May 14.
Bhakta and Mourton got their $3.7 million in financing from First Federal Bank of Arkansas of Fayetteville that same day.
Included within that purchase is an additional five acres of undeveloped land, for which Mourton and Bhakta would not disclose their plans.
Together they own three other hotels in Bentonville — Springdale Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Super 8 — and two others in Louisiana and New Mexico.
