It looks like rennovations are underway on the 73,000-SF former Kmart building located at 2231 W. 6th Street in Fayetteville. Commerce Construction Co. of Fayetteville got a building permit for $667,000 worth of work for Tyson Foods Inc. at the site, but the Springdale meat company is mum on its plans there.
Perry L. Butcher & Associates Architects of Rogers is the architect. Plans include a build-out vestibule to the existing storefront, replacing some of the windows and adding an illuminated sign. The parking lot has more than 350 spaces.
