Score another coup for United Bank in Springdale.
The locally owned bank just lured Rick Baney away from his senior vice president post at $240 million One Bank in Little Rock. Baney will serve as executive vice president and chief lending officer and oversee the $124 million concern’s loan committees.
Baney, a 1984 accounting graduate at Arkansas State University, is originally from Indiana but has lived in Arkansas for a number of years. He and wife, Melissa Baney, and their three children are in the process of moving to the area from Conway.
Baney started with First Tennessee and boasts 20 years in commercial lending.
