United Bank in Springdale recently made its first foray into Benton County by opening a UB Mortgage loan office in Rogers. The bank is leasing a 1,300 SF space at the northeast corner of the prominent intersection of 34th Street and Walnut Avenue.

United, owned by United Holding Co. of Springdale, recently bought nearly two acres at that location for $530,000 to develop a full-service banking operation. It will give United four locations, including three in Springdale.

Jeff Lynch, United’s president, said details about the new facility have not yet been finalized. But Beth Holmes and Sue Webb are already originating mortgages out of the Rogers office.
