Jim Selman — owner of Comet Cleaners in Fayetteville, Springdale and Rogers — has been elected as the new president of the Fayetteville-Springdale Elks Lodge.
Selman is a past president — known as the exalted ruler — of the Elks. He is a 1969 graduate of the University of Arkansas.
The Fayetteville-Springdale Lodge has about 1,100 members and gives annually to numerous charitable organizations and scholarships in Northwest Arkansas.
