Ana Lorena Hart grew up in Mexicali, Mexico, and graduated in 1992 from the University of Baja-California with a bachelors degree in science and communications.n

After college, Hart worked as a manager and promoter for several local artists before moving to Pineville, Mo., and opening her own recording studio.n

In 1996, she started working as a translator for the McDonald County Sheriffs department, and in 1997 she filled a position as a teachers aide. The latter part of 1997 was spent at Hudson Foods as a retention coordinator at its Noel, Mo., plant.n

After Tyson Foods 1998 acquisition of Hudson, Hart was moved from production to serve as a human services coordinator. She was promoted to corporate human services manager in 2001 and corporate Hispanic team-member relations coordinator at the end of that year. In 2002, she was promoted to multicultural community relations coordinator.n

Hart serves on the MultiCultural Community Board in Springdale, the Northwest Arkansas Girl Scouts Council and the Boys and Girls Club of Fayetteville.n

She is a state deputy director for womens affairs with the League of United Latin American Citizens and a member of the National Hispanic Womens Organization.n
