Michelle Webb is going to the dogs. Literally. Webb is owner of Here’s the Scoop, a recently opened dog-waste removal system in Rogers. The business primarily cleans yards and kennels. Webb said she wants to target neighborhoods in Rogers, Bentonville and Pea Ridge for now, expanding later if need be.

The only business in Northwest Arkansas to offer dog-waste removal exclusively, Here’s the Scoop got started after Webb got the idea for the business while reading a book. She then did Internet research on the idea.

She charges $7 per yard, per dog, with an extra $3 added for every additional yard. While weekly cleanings are the most common, Webb also offers biweekly and one-time cleanings.

Webb is still building her client base, and she said she hopes to keep it relatively small to allow her to be able to spend time with her family. But, if the business grows to be more than she can handle alone, she said will add another employee.

With minimal startup costs of less than $150, Webb hopes to gross $145,000 within the next year.
