Target Honors J.B. Hunt as Carrier of The Year

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. of Lowell received Target Corp.’s Outbound Carrier of the Year Award for the second straight year. The honor was given to Hunt’s Dedicated Contract Services for its work during 2001 at the Target Stuarts Draft, Va., distribution center.
Last year, Hunt won the honor for its work at the Tifton, Ga., distribution center.
During 2001, Hunt achieved a 99.8 percent on-time service record at the Stuarts Draft facility. Target cited Hunt’s communication, documentation, accountability and customer service follow-up.
