@Estimated gross revenue figures were calculated according to the hotel and motel taxes paid by facilities to their respective cities. Hotels and motels in Fayetteville are not required to file restaurant taxes seperatly from the hotel’s room revenue. Therefore, the general managers of Fayetteville’s two largest hotels with restaurants provided estimated percentages of hotel sales that exclude restaurant revenue, and we adjusted those numbers in our list. Fayetteville revenue figures are based on the city’s fiscal year: Dec. 1-Nov. 30.
The following lodgings were not included in the list because they failed to respond to repeated inquiries: Sunrise Inn, Whispering Hills Cabins and Springdale Motel in Springdale; Hilton Garden Inn and Best Western Inn in Bentonville; Hartland Lodge in Rogers; and Holiday Inn Express and Landmark Inn in Fayetteville.
