Two baby fairs convinced Ray and Cindy Watson to open their new retail business, Surely Goodness. Primarily selling baby-related items such as ultrasound picture frames and soft blankets, the Surely Goodness booth received overwhelmingly positive responses at expositions in Springdale and Fayetteville, Cindy Watson said.
The Watsons plan to attend baby fairs in Tulsa, Little Rock and Fort Smith. Between shows, the couple sell the items out of their home, and they plan to launch an online storefront, surelygoodness.com, by late August.
The online store will also stock home accessories such as pendulum clocks and wedding picture frames.
In June, the couple went to Dallas and purchased about $2,000 worth of inventory, Cindy Watson said.
Currently, she works as a speech pathologist and Ray Watson programs computers.
