Maria Sandoval recently opened Lethallure Inc. to sell her designer line of clothing and jewelry. Branded simply “Lethallure,” the product lines are completely unique, Sandoval said.
Intended to suit primarily teen-agers and juniors, Lethallure offers a variety of clothes such as men’s underwear, custom prom dresses and camouflage-style outfits. Most of the clothing production comes from out-of-state plants that use Sandoval’s patterns to make the pieces. Lethallure also stocks several nationally known product brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Polo and Mary Kay cosmetics.
To launch the business, Sandoval spent about $25,000, which included the purchase of five in-house sewing machines for custom work. She also hired two employees to help staff the 500-SF shop.
Before moving to Arkansas nine years ago, Sandoval owned and operated a Mexican and Salvadoran restaurant in California.
