Vista Health enjoying new ownership
Dr. Norman Snyder, medical director for Vista Health, said the new ownership of the former Charter Behavioral Health System greatly benefits residents of Northwest Arkansas.
On Aug. 31, Texarkana Behavioral Associates LC announced its acquisition of Charter. Charter’s corporate headquarters in Atlanta had filed bankruptcy in February.
“The new structure of our care delivery system will allow us to expand physician services in directions which will make medical psychiatric services more accessible to the people of the region,” Snyder said.
The facility has provided behavioral health treatment programs for individuals and families of Northwest Arkansas for more than 18 years.
It offers a comprehensive and integrated system of treatment options and educational services designed to improve the quality of life for those suffering from psychiatric and addictive disorders.
Dr. James Naples is president and founder of Texarkana Behavioral.
“Dr. Naples’ investment in the hospital will allow us to develop new and innovative behavioral health treatment programs and to continue to partner with the local community mental health and advocacy initiatives,” said Patrick Kelly, CEO of Vista Health.
