The shooting of John R. Locke was featured as a major story in newspapers and television news segments nationwide. The University of Arkansas English professor was gunned down in his office Aug. 28 by a graduate student.
If the initial wave of publicity wasn’t enough, now a reporter for The Chronicle of Higher Education is in Fayetteville working on a feature story about the shooting. The Chronicle is the newspaper of record for the academic world.
Robin Wilson’s article is due to be published in the Sept. 15 issue of the Chronicle.
