Tuesday Eastlack, one of Northwest Arkansas’ best known chefs, is once again unemployed.

In mid-May, Eastlack replaced John Sutton as executive chef at Ozark Brewing Co. in Fayetteville. By mid-August, she was gone.

John Gilliam, owner of the “Brew Pub,” had no comment about Eastlack’s departure other than to say she would be teaching culinary arts at Fayetteville High School’s West Campus, which Eastlack was already doing in addition to her job at the Brew Pub.

Gilliam promoted Ken Over, Eastlack’s sous chef at the Brew Pub, to executive chef. He said the menu will be changed in October as is the restaurant’s normal procedure.

Eastlack ran Tuesday’s restaurant in Fayetteville from 1994 to 1997 and served as executive chef at Otis Zark at Terra in Durham for a short period of time.
