Life Styles Benefits from Annual Polo Event
The 11th annual Polo in the Ozarks, which raised $40,000 at its 1999 event for Life Styles Inc., is expecting and even larger amount when all the numbers are tallied from the 2000 spectacle held Aug. 26.
The polo match is held at the farm of Dr. Brian and Donna Buell on Arkansas Highway 45 just west of Goshen.
Life Styles, a non-profit organization, provides for Northwest Arkansas residents with disabilities. Funds from the 2000 event will help make needed improvements at two duplex locations of Life Styles, the Support Center and apartments at the main campus. Some proceeds will also be used for the Life Styles College For Living Program, an educational and recreational program serving more than 120 individuals with disabilities.
