John Brown University
• Construction is scheduled to begin in late February on a $10 million, 98,000-SF community center for John Brown University in Siloam Springs.
The three-story building will house a dormitory wing, post office, coffee shop, student development offices and the Center for Marriage and Family Services, says Adriane Carr, a spokeswoman for JBU.
Construction of the community center is expected to be completed in the fall of 2001.
• Also, construction is to being this spring on a $6 million, 35,000-SF science building at JBU. That building should be completed in about a year.
