Speaking of Garner Asset Management Co., it’s not every investment manager who also gives out recipes. Recent visitors to the Fayetteville company’s web site (www.garnerasset.com) may have noticed the top headline: “Becca’s Mom’s Award Winning Recipe Available!”
Becca, of course, is Rebecca Garner, president, CEO and chief investment officer. Her mom is Jay Herring, whose recipe for buttermilk ice cream was one of 12 chosen (from more than 10,000 entries) by Better Homes & Gardens as one of the “Century Standouts.”
The web site features not only the recipe but a photo of Herring and her husband, John.
The recipe, by the way, gets accolades from Crescent Dragonwagon, the Eureka Springs author, who declares the recipe “one asset that should be frozen.”
