Forty Under 40: Cindy Webb

Cindy F. Webb, 39, grew up in Little Rock. She earned a bachelor’s degree in math from Hendrix College in Conway and a master’s degree in English from the University of Arkansas.

Webb has 18 years experience working for and with nonprofit organizations ranging in size from a $1.2 million budget to $750 million.

She ran the largest fund raising event for Marymount College for Women in New York City and set records for corporate giving there. She established a group of volunteers to create events that raised more than $2 million annually for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center over a four-year period. And she established a donor base for the Chancellor’s Society at the UA, where, as director of development for the College of Education, she quadrupled the amount of special gifts in five years to $1 million.

Webb worked for Community Resource Group of Fayetteville as director of development and marketing.

She currently runs C.F. Webb consulting, which specializes in fund raising and marketing. Her clients include the Council on Aging, Lifestyles, the Wal-Mart Foundation, the Walton Arts Center and the Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club.
