When Qwest Internet Solutions decided it needed a “winner” in Northwest Arkansas’ lucrative e-business market, it hired Brad Christian.
A former U.S. Navy Seal with extensive high-tech training, Christian joined Qwest this Spring and immediately gave the Denver, Col., firm a local point man with the capacity for high-pressure decision making and team-oriented goals.
Christian studied chemical engineering at the University of Arkansas. For four years, he participated in extensive overseas operations with Seal Team Eight, including coordinating intelligence operations and training foreign forces. He specialized in hand-to-hand combat.
In addition to completing the world’s toughest military training, Christian has large-scale restaurant management experience and is an avid golfer. He spent the last year representing IPA-One Main.com as a local reseller account manager, leading his three-state territory to a 300 percent sales jump in two quarters.
Christian, 29, said he strives to provide clients with e-business solutions that help them better use the Internet.
He has participated in the Adopt-A-School-Program and the Make A Wish Foundation. He’s also a licensed EMT and holds an SSI Scuba Instructor’s certification.
