A branch office of Oklahoma City-based HEBCO Inc. now serves Northwest Arkansas. Tending mainly to business accounts rather than individuals, HEBCO installs and maintains computer systems in the area.
Bryan Billingsley manages the new Springdale branch, and after eight years with the company, he says he still enjoys his work.
“I’m getting to do something I like and something I’m trained for,” Billingsley says. “I do everything from hiring to marketing.”
Supported by a background in industrial engineering and computer programming, Billingsley answers questions daily concerning computer technology.
“We’re going for small businesses here in Northwest Arkansas,” Billingsley says.
A staff of two part-time and two full-time employees work in the office in Springdale.
Designing and maintaining web pages is a service offered by HEBCO. Testing local computer systems for Y2K compliance is also included in the business’ services.
