An $80,000 donation from an anonymous donor paid for the recent purchase of new mammography equipment at Bella Vista Medical Center.
The new equipment includes a new breast imaging system, which provides a better quality image than previous systems, and an X-ray lift table, designed to make the procedure more comfortable for patients.
The anonymous donation was made to St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation. Bella Vista Medical Center and St. Mary’s Hospital are both part of the Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas.
