Laundry Building Lands Tenants
Greg House’ latest Dickson Street area project is nearing completion and has attracted two restaurants as tenants.
Last year, House purchased the 72-year-old, 10,000-SF Superior Linen building at 326 N. West Ave. in Fayetteville for about $300,000. Renovation of the building, which he has renamed The Laundry Building, began last fall and may cost House another $500,000. House says the renovation will be complete by the end of May.
The building will be home to Georgia’s Gyros, a Greek eatery, and Om Shanti, a vegan restaurant. Vegan is similar to vegetarian but uses no animal byproducts for cooking.
Georgia’s Gyros is owned by Mark Rogers, who has two other Georgia’s Gyros in Little Rock.
Om Shanti is owned by Jeff Lehman and Dino Wang.
House says Lehman has a restaurant in Beijing, China, and Wang has restaurants in Taiwan and Los Angeles.
