First Federal Ventures into Brokerage Business

First Federal Bank of Arkansas plans to offer full-service stock brokerage services soon. Ross Mallioux, executive vice president, says the bank has hired addtional staff and promoted other employees to handle the new services.

“We’ll be offering full-service stock brokerage services with stocks, bonds, municipal bonds, fixed annuities,” Mallioux says.

The brokerage services are expected to be available by early summer. First Federal, based in Harrison, recently opened a new branch in Mountain Home and now has 15 offices.
