First Southwest Grill to open in Springdale

Chimi’s is planning to open its first Southwest Grill by mid-March at 2313 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale.
The building, which previously housed New York Bagel, is currently undergoing renovations.
Chimi’s isn’t ready to say much about the new restaurant. The company is still deciding what will go on the menu.
“It’s a brand-new concept for us,” a spokeswoman said. “It’s so different from what we do now. It’ll be the very first one, so we want to do it right.”
Chimi’s has one of its traditional restaurants — called Chimi’s Mexican Food — at 2850 W. Walnut St. in Rogers.
