Cracker Barrel restaurant bought 2.61 acres at the Ozark Factory Outlet Stores location at the northwest corner of U.S. Highways 71 and 412 in Springdale.
The $672,000 purchase from Mathias Properties includes a restrictive covenant and exclusive use agreement for the Tennessee corporation. It states that Mathias will not allow any additional family-oriented restaurants build on the property besides what already exists there.
Cracker Barrel is building a 9,520-SF restaurant with a 1,356-SF front porch.
Sam Mathias, president, signed the warranty deed for Mathias Properties. Donald G. Kravitz, vice-president of Cracker Barrel, signed for his company.
