Jeff Lynch, 37, is new to Northwest Arkansas having moved to Fayetteville just three months ago, but he’s learned banking from the ground up.

“I started working as a teller, worked my way through the lending area and then on the retail side as well. I’ve worked in small banks and big banks, and then had the opportunity to come to Northwest Arkansas.”

Lynch, who had attended the University of Arkansas before completing his degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, spent several working years in Central Arkanas.

He first worked at a Malvern bank before moving on to Conway. He worked seven years for the bank that eventually became NationsBank in Conway.

When McIlroy Bank offered Lynch the opportunity to return to Northwest Arkansas, he reacted eagerly and moved his family to Fayetteville.

Banking was his lifelong career dream, says Lynch, whose father also works in the business.

“I enjoy the people side of the business … helping people realize their dreams, whether it’s consumer or commercial.”
