No Vacancy?

The Fayetteville building that housed Consumers Food and Drug until the store moved to Bella Vista in November may soon be leased to another tenant, says Joe Fred Starr, owner of the building.

Starr says Consumers, based in Springfield, Mo., has a lease on the College Avenue building until the end of October.

“I’m sure as soon as the holidays are over, they’ll move their stuff out and we’ll work something out,” says Starr, indicating he will buy Consumers out of its lease.

Starr says he has a new tenant in mind for the building.
