Wheelin? and Dealin?

He doesn’t want to discuss it yet, but Jim Ray is buying another automobile dealership – this time in Fort Smith.

All he’ll tell us is that Breeden Nissan at 5606 Towson Ave. is “under contract” and he expects to close the deal within the next month or two, whenever Nissan approves the purchase. He wouldn’t tell us how much the dealership cost him.

We also hear from other sources that Ray has been operating the dealership for the last three months and plans to change the name to Jim Ray Nissan when the purchase is finalized.

It will be Ray’s second dealership since he got out of the car business in March 1995 by selling seven Fayetteville dealerships. Ray also owns Jim Ray’s Northwest Honda in Bentonville.
