A.G. Edwards on June 9 raised its rating on USA Truck Inc. of Van Buren and set a 12-month price target of $15 per share, based on increased confidence about the company’s earnings outlook.
‘Analyst Thom Albrecht says he raised his 1997 earnings estimate to $0.72 per share from $0.70, and raised his 1998 estimate to $0.87 from $0.80.
“We recently met with management, and we feel very confident about our earnings outlook for USA Truck,” Albrecht says. “We could see several positive earnings surprises from the company over the next year.”
