The bankruptcy filing of another area business came too late to be included in an article about the company elsewhere in this issue.
On May 27, Dan Ford, owner of Pot & Ladle, filed for bankruptcy.
The filing was fresh, thus still sketchy, but a number of banks were listed as creditors, including Arkansas National Bank, Bank of Rogers, Citizens Bank (now Bank of Arkansas), City National Bank of Fort Smith, Federal Savings Bank of Rogers and First National Bank of Springdale.
Three Pot & Ladle stores are already closed and merchandise is being discounted at the Rogers store in a liquidation.
