Elaine Reyes, the owner of Elenita’s Mexican Cafe, plans to open a second location June 16 near Oak Plaza Shopping Center at the intersection of North Street and Garland Avenue in Fayetteville. The new restaurant, in a building that previously housed Simple Simon’s Pizza and Gumbo Joe’s, will have a patio and room for 25 tables, Reyes says. The cafe’s current location on South School Street in Fayetteville will remain open. The original Elenita’s accommodates 15 tables.
