With another retail business gone from downtown Fayetteville ? Hays and Sanders Bookshop – and Arsaga’s Espresso Cafe moving, there’s more space available for leasing. Lamar Alexander, who owns the Block Avenue building where both those businesses were located, says he’s hoping to lease the entire vacant space – about 2,100 SF – to a single tenant.

Of course, there’s still one big vacancy on the square’s west side. The Campbell-Bell building has been empty since the department store closed a couple of years ago.
