Dale Coon, manager of Affordable Communications, says the company’s recent move to Lowell was an effort to better serve customers needs. He says the tremendous growth occurring in the small city and its proximity to Springdale were big motivating factors.
“There is great growth in Lowell, and [U.S. Highway] 71B gives us good exposure for trying to work Springdale,” Coon says. “We used to have a location there, but we sold the property to the Days Inn. We still have a lot of customers in Springdale.”
Affordable Communications is a dealer for Mid-West Paging and paging services for Southwestern Bell. Coon says owner Steven Sparks, also owns locations in Rogers and Hot Springs, is considering opening another location in Springdale or Fayetteville.
