Sources confirm to The Tolbert Report that Jacksonville attorney Patricia Nation is set to announce that she will seek the Republican nomination for Attorney General.
Nation grew up in Dumas, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a law degree. She is a practicing trial and civil rights attorney. She is active with the Republican Party serving as Assistant Secretary to the state GOP. She was recently appointed to the Arkansas Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Advisory Committee.
Nation will face Leslie Rutledge and David Sterling in the Republican Primary. State Rep. Nate Steel is the only announced candidate on the Democratic side.
