"DISCO THRU THE 80’S V"

Disco fever on a Saturday night is back on tap with the fifth annual "Disco Thru the 80’s" presented by Team At Work For All Charities, Inc. Do the hustle for charity and dance the night away Saturday, July 10th 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Smith Event Center located at 12 North 11th Street in downtown Fort Smith.

The night will feature disco and 80’s music with video’s displayed on a large projection screen provided by MS SoundWorks! The hall will be transformed into a discotheque with lights and music sweeping through Fort Smith, giving people a chance to re-live the past while helping make the future brighter for one local organization.

The fun-fundraising event will include the drawing of $1000 in cash at midnight! Tickets are on sell now with all funds raised going directly to cancer victims in need. Other features of the disco inferno will be a variety of delicious hor d’ oeuvres, a cash bar (must be 21) and lots of in-house drawings! Guests are encouraged to don their best costumes as this year there will be two contests. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best dressed Disco and 80’s era costume!

Team At Work is always honored at hosting the ‘Disco Thru the 80’s’ which has grown significantly larger each year. In 2008 the Disco raised over $3000 for the Cancer Support House and over 150 guests have attended the fund raisers.

Join us this year and ‘do the hustle’ for a good cause! Tickets are $30 in advance and will be $35 at the door. Tickets include hors d’ oeurves. Doors open at 7:00 / Music starts at 7:30. By volunteering significant time and energy, we assist others in emergency and financial situations in and around the community. Since 2006 TAW has been providing a wide variety of fundraising events, bringing enlightening entertainment to the area. Our proudest achievement is seeing the help extended out to those with needs and hardships and knowing that we helped. We strive in every event we host to bring the very best of entertainment into our city while keeping all contributions we receive working here locally. We enjoy doing fundraising events to help others and encourage everyone to attend and enjoy the entertainment while supporting these worthy causes.

Proceeds will benefit the Reynold’s Cancer Support House!
