Please join the U.S. Marshals Museum and area agencies and organizations dedicated to the safety and well-being of children on Friday, May 7 from 3:00p to 6:00 p for the 3rd Annual Safe Kids! event.

Riverfront Amphitheater (121 Clayton Expressway), Fort Smith

This annual event, hosted by the U.S. Marshals Museum, provides parents and children the opportunity to meet representatives from mulitiple agencies, learn ways to protect themselves, and learn how to talk about difficult topics–all in one location.

Families are encouraged to bring their children for DNA Life Print kits, which include digital fingerprints, digital photographs, and an at-home kit for DNA swabbing.  These kits are designed to last for years and help in the event a child goes missing.  Area law enforcement agencies and corporations will also be on hand to teach children important skills such as how to properly use 911, electrical safety, and how to safely exit a burning building.

Participating agencies include:

American Red Cross
Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield
Cox Communications

Fort Smith Fire Department
Fort Smith Police Department
