Ozark Beer May Be Gearing Up for Expansion
If you’re a fan of Ozark Beer Co., then you may like this news. The Rogers-based beer-maker, founded in 2013 and best known for its American Pale Ale, may be gearing up for an expansion and relocation.
Ozark Beer principals Andy Coates, Lacie Bray and Jeff Baldwin recently paid $970,000 for a vacant 13,726-SF building at 109 N. Arkansas St. in downtown Rogers. The purchase was made in the name of Ozark Beer Ventures LLC.
Right now, the company produces its beer out of an 8,000-SF brewery on South First Street, about one mile south of downtown. Last summer, Ozark Beer increased production by 50 percent by installing three 30-barrel tanks shipped in from Karbach Brewing Co. in Texas.
The new tanks brought the total to nine, each of them 13.5 feet tall and holding over 900 gallons.
A spokesman for the company told us only that more details would be coming soon. We’ll share them when they are available.
