Report: Tony Rogers Will Be Next CMO at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has named Tony Rogers its new chief marketing officer in the U.S., according to multiple media reports Friday.

Rogers will replace Stephen Quinn, who announced earlier this month he would be retiring.

Rogers will take over the new post in mid-January. He has been at Walmart for a decade and was most recently chief marketing officer for Walmart in China.

Before coming to Walmart, he worked in marketing for PepsiCo Inc.’s Frito-Lay division.
