Citizens Bank Converts LPO to Full-Service Branch

The company has converted its loan production office at 1676 E. Joyce Blvd. to a full-service banking office.

Citizens Bank, which is headquartered in the northeast Arkansas town of Batesville, entered the Northwest Arkansas market in February with the opening of an LPO, headed by market president Doug Lynch.

A bank spokesman said the transition from LPO to branch has been a soft opening. A formal announcement about the conversion and additional staff members is expected in the coming weeks.

Citizens Bank now has branches in seven Arkansas cities — Fayetteville, Batesville, Hot Springs, Imboden, Pleasant Plains, Mountain View and Cave City. As of March 31, the bank had $568.6 million in total assets, according to the FDIC.
