Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Updates Website for Investor Relations

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of Bentonville announced May 19 the launch of its new, revamped website for Investor Relations.
In addition to a clean, fresh look and user-friendly navigation, the new site comes complete with additional information, enhanced search functionality and easier access to key financial information, including SEC filings, quarterly results, shareholders’ meeting materials and investor presentation materials.
“We wanted to make it more contemporary looking and allow users to find things more quickly and easily,” said Carol Schumacher, Walmart’s vice president for investor relations.
Schumacher said the website update was led by a company based in Toronto, Canada, called Q4 Web Systems, which specializes in IR websites, social media and mobile solutions for public companies in North America.
The investor website can be accessed from the “Investors” tab at the company’s website www.corporate.walmart.com.
The updated website is also available via Walmart’s free Investor Relations app for smartphones and tablets.
Walmart launched its app in 2012, in conjunction with the release of materials for its annual shareholders’ meeting.
