A Call for Nominations

The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal conducts searches for potential Fast 15s and Forty Under 40s on a regular basis. Presenting those classes to you each year is always a highlight.

And next year, we are looking forward to introducing a new way to shine a spotlight on the top talent in Northwest Arkansas.

For the first time, we will strictly celebrate women in the working world in our inaugural Women in Business feature, to be published in June 2015.

An online form seeking nominations has been launched at www.nwabusinessjournal.com under the “Best in Class” tab.

The deadline to nominate is April 17.

The Women in Business feature will recognize 10 of the area’s top women business leaders. We’re looking for women from every industry and profession — women who have made a difference in their business and are leaving a mark on the Northwest Arkansas community.

Honorees will be profiled in the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal and online.

Nominees must be female residents of Northwest Arkansas who work in the region. They should be established business leaders with compelling records of innovation in their fields, exceptional performance in their businesses and strong track records of meaningful community involvement.

A balance between professional accomplishment and community involvement is important.

Simply put, we are looking for inspiring stories from inspiring people.

Do you know a person like that? Nominate them. This is a chance to put the spotlight on a co-worker or mentor.

Self-nominations are also acceptable. Sometimes, the most inspiring stories are first-person stories.

The honorees will be selected by the Business Journal editorial staff, and our choices will be based solely on the information in the nomination forms.

As a reminder, the nomination period ends April 17. We look forward to sharing some inspiring stories.
