Synergy Business Services Rebrands To Allan Taylor & Co.

Business brokerage firm Synergy Business Services of Rogers, headquartered in the Pinnacle Bank building on West New Hope Road, has changed its name to Allan Taylor & Co.

Barbara Taylor, who owns the company with her husband, Chris Taylor, said the name change is reflective of the company’s growth since its founding in 2006, from a local business brokerage to a lower-middle-market merger and acquisition firm with clients all over the country.

Barbara Taylor said Allan is her maiden name.

“The size of the businesses we now work with, and the fact that they come from all over the country, made us rethink how we market ourselves as a true merger and acquisition firm,” she said.

The Taylors attribute much of their firm’s ability to attract a nationwide clientele to Barbara writing for The New York Times. Barbara’s column, “Transaction,” ran for three years in The New York Times’ small-business blog, “You’re the Boss: The Art of Running a Small Business.”

She is also a regular contributor to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
