Popular Fayetteville restaurant Foghorn’s will open its third Northwest Arkansas location next year near the intersection of Interstate 49 and Arkansas Highway 412 in Springdale.

Restaurant owner Jeff Hodges said he is expected to close Sept. 30 on the 4,436-SF building at 1100 S. 48th Place, which previously housed Bleu Monkey Grill (opened in spring 2012) and Oseguera’s.

Members of the Oseguera family opened the original BMG in Hot Springs in 2010, then expanded to Springdale in 2012.

The Springdale location closed Sept. 14.

Hodges said the space would be remodeled and opened as a Foghorn’s on Jan. 1.

“We really like the location, and I think there is a big demand for what we do,” he said. “I don’t plan on changing much from the other two locations.”

Foghorn’s, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in March, has its flagship restaurant at 1815 Green Acres Road. The restaurant also has a location, opened in 2007, in leased space at University Village across from Baum Stadium near the University of Arkansas campus.

Hodges paid Oseguera Inc. $715,000 for the building.

“And that includes everything in it; they’ll just give us the keys to the building,” he said.
