Top Fort Smith Hotel Bought by Local Group

Fort Smith-based CSK Hotels recently purchased the Hampton Inn at 6201-C Rogers Ave. in  Fort Smith from Summit Hotels. Though CSK partner Storm Nolan could not disclose the purchase price, the 178-room hotel was listed at $12 million.

The Hampton Inn — which according to Nolan is the city’s highest grossing hotel at around $4.1 million annually — will undergo a Hilton-branded, $3 million renovation under Hilton’s Forever Young initiative.

“We’ve been interested in the hotel for years,” Nolan said. “We want to run this hotel for the long term, especially since it’s in our own backyard.”

Nolan said the hotel will also feature local photography. The hotel will remain open during the renovation, which will begin soon.

In addition to the Hampton Inn, CSK also owns the Comfort Inn & Suites in Little Rock and the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Texarkana.
