G60 Startup Pitch Contest Set for April 21 in Bentonville
An upcoming contest will give aspiring entrepreneurs 60 seconds to deliver an “elevator pitch” of their business idea to a panel of judges for cash prizes.
The G60 Pitch Contest is set for 6:30 p.m., April 21 at the 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville.
One $1,000 cash prize will be awarded to a contestant based on audience vote and another $1,000 cash prize will be awarded based on the judges’ vote, said Brett Amerine, co-organizer of the event, certified project management professional and director of operations at Startup Junkie Consulting of Fayetteville.
The annual event was started in 2011 by Jeff Amerine, director of Technology Ventures at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and certified project management professional.
It is free and open to the public. However, organizers request audience and pitch contestants register online here.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served.
The title sponsor is Windstream Hosted Solutions, and the program also received support from Winrock International.
G60 Pitch Contest events are also set for 7 p.m., June 11 at 28 Springs
restaurant in Siloam Springs and noon on Aug. 12 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers.
