Bank Of The Ozarks Adds 3 To Board Of Directors
Three new members have joined the board of directors of Little Rock-based Bank of the Ozarks.
The three new directors are Nicholas Brown, Dr. John Reynolds, and Dr. Sherece West.
Brown is President and Chief Executive Officer of Southwest Power Pool in Little Rock, Arkansas. Southwest Power Pool is one of nine Regional Transmission Organizations mandated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to ensure reliable supplies of power, adequate transmission infrastructure and competitive wholesale prices of electricity. Brown holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a B.S. in Physics and Math from Ouachita Baptist University.
Reynolds is the Pathologist and Laboratory Director for Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. He is a Fellow in the College of American Pathologists and is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He holds a B.S. from Emory University and a M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine. For three generations the Reynolds family has been extensively involved in timber, business and banking endeavors in south Georgia, and Reynolds continues to be actively involved in these areas.
Dr. Sherece West is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, a private, independent foundation whose mission is to improve the lives of all Arkansans in three interrelated areas: economic development; education; and economic, racial, and social justice. Her professional career includes experience in community development, public policy and advocacy. West holds a B.A. from Bowie State University, an M.A. in Public Policy from the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
