J.D. Byrider Dealership Opens in Rogers

Leading used car sales and financing franchise J.D. Byrider has opened its first Northwest Arkansas location.
The new, 14,000-SF dealership is located at 2328 S. 8th St., Suite D, in Rogers and will be operated by Dave Hanson, a first-time J.D. Byrider franchisee. The current location is temporary, however. Hanson intends to build a permanent dealership in the future, said Tim Coxey, public relations representative for the franchise.
According to a news release from the company, the new store will create about 16 local jobs. It is the second J.D. Byrider dealership to open in Arkansas, with the first in Sherwood.
J.D. Byrider, headquartered in Indiana, has served more than a million customers and has more than $1 billion in retail contracts, according to the release.
The company consists of 131 franchised- and 23 company-owned dealerships in 32 states. It opened 13 new locations in 2013.
