Photojournalist Earns Career Highlight
If you pick up a copy of the October issue of National Geographic Traveler magazine, you can see several photos from one of Arkansas’ top photojournalists.
Beth Hall, a frequent contributor to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, spent several days in June shooting exterior and interior photos of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.
She received an email in late May from one of the magazine’s editors asking if she would be interested in the assignment.
“I wonder if anyone ever says no,” Hall wrote in a blog post about the experience. “After all, it seems like almost every photographer says they want to shoot for National Geographic when they grow up, and I was honored to get the chance to shoot for one of their publications.”
Several of Hall’s photos were included in the magazine’s new “Best of the World” feature.
